Basic Protection - Coolice Charge Cases & Power Supplies

Introducing the Coolice Basic Protection and power module to suit the HP DPS-1200FB range of power supplies, an exciting new addition that is a colaboration between myself and Steve Smith (Xygax, the SimStick designer).

This unit incorporates the tried & proven basic protection circuitry from our original DPS-600PB unit, but puts it all together on a single bespoke PCB that makes for a much neater package. This layout also removes the need for any soldering directly to the PSU terminals, as the matching edge conenctors on the rear simple allow a slide on/slide off arrangement.
Straight forward and simple connection to a pair of PSU's, so should one fail in time, you simply slide off this circuit, replace the dead PSU and slide it back on. Simple :-)

This circuit can control upto 2x PSU's for a safe 25 volt setup. For upto 3x PSU's making a 36 volt setup, you need the IceMeter.
