FlexMeter

After Many years with the IceMeter, the time has now come to discontinue this protection circuit :-( It has been a fantastic addition to my charge cases and a credit to it's designer Steve Smith (XYGAX), but technology doesn't stand still and neither should we!
So let me introduce to you our new FlexMeter protection circuit for use with the newer breed of Flexslot server supplies.

Incorporating the all important protection circuit to safeguard your iCharger DUO, the FlexMeter brings some new features. With a move to an ESP32 we now have WiFi conenction options and can set it up to work as an access point, or connect to your home/office network and then serve a web page showing the voltages and current draw on your handheld device or PC/laptop. Also being a web page no matter what your device, if you can surf the web then this FlexMeters data can be seen.

Now sporting a small 1.3" OLED display, the user can quickly see the connected power supplies voltages, the on-board 100amp shunt allows us to show live current draw readings, current temperature via a separate temp PCB with a second for monitoring temperature in a second location, the various parameter settings (which are user settable) such as;
1. Under Voltage Protection (UVP) set point
2. Over Voltage Protection (OVP) set point
3. Over Temp Shut Down

A strip, or ring, of 20 Neopixel LED's can be added for a colourful indication of PSU status.

The Flexmeter can also control external cooling fans based on temperature, the cooing fans in your case can be programmed to turn on when internal temperatures rise, so they are not running at all times.

With the move away from Bluetooth to WiFi on this new FlexMeter protection board, the Flexmeter can stream information wirelessly! There is no need for any other software, or apps, just a simple web browser will do

Due to how these new Flexslot units work, we now control either a high power relay or contactor and this is an additional item.
